About the Artist
My name is Sophie O’Callaghan and I am an ink and pastel artist from Wexford in the south east of Ireland . I have been drawing since childhool and started my professional art career 5 years ago as I had time to explore different mediums.
I hand draw all of my piece from photographs using the best materials available. My career as a veterinary nurse has definitely influenced my passion for all things animal and I specialize in pet portraits. I love how artwork can help preserve important memories and also capture the true spirit and relationship we have with our pets.
